3. Do you give free written quotes and how long will it take?
Yes, through our personalised appointments we take the time to explain the variety of products and services our company provides. During these appointments we carry out a written 32-point roof and gutter inspection and offer professional advice on the options suitable to improve the condition and life of your roof tiles. This is also given with a written quotation on all required work that you have decided to consider with any applicable brochures for you to review at your own convenience.

Time for each appointment can vary from family to family. Each roof report takes approximately 20mins, however, depending on the amount of queries each person may have and the detail they request, our responses can vary the time required for each appointment.

4. What times during the day do you quote?
At Creative Roofing we appreciate that every home and every personal situation is different. It is for this reason that we offer you and your family a wide range of available times so we can arrange an appointment time suitable for you. Appointments times can be made as follows:-

5. Does your company only do large jobs?
No, we will try and help anyone who has any inquiries regarding roofing/guttering work. Creative Roofing will help with things as small as a broken tile, cleaning guttering or small pointing repairs up to a completly new roof.

6. Are you members of any professional associations and do you have insurance?
Yes, in today's business world there are minimum responsibilities for company owners to provide healthy, safe and secure work sites for not only their staff but also their clients. It is for this reason combined with our commitment to professional standards that Creative Roofing complies with all industry requirements such as safety guard rails, insurance and memberships with the following associations: -

Workcover # WEN 11780568
Public Liability # 157A322040BPK
(MBA) Master Builders Association # 083499

7. Do I need to be at home when work is being completed?
Generally no, since most work is conducted on top of your roof, normally our tradesmen are able to complete work without requiring access inside your house or into the backyard. On the occasion when jobs such as guttering or roof cleaning require this access it will be highlighted on the initial appointment when quoting.

8. What payment options does Creative Roofing accept?
Creative Roofing accepts payments in various ways to try and help with different financial situations: -
  • Cash, cheque, internet direct deposits and most credit cards are all welcome.
  • We also offer 6-24mths interest free options through Lombard's Finance (*conditions apply).
  • Where required we can organise a competitive loan through Lombard's Finance for their 48month Ezi payment plan.
9. When is the best time of the year to complete roof and gutter work?
Unfortunately, in working out doors, tradesmen are forced to contend with the unpredictable Melbourne weather. Extremes from the heat of summer, the rain of winter but also the wind of spring and what ever autumn decides to offer us mean that there is not better time of the year for Creative Roofing to complete your roofing requirements because we will always need to allow for some sort of bad weather in every season of the year.

Normally we suggest that the best time to do work is before major problems occur or when you notice anything unusual or of concern. Preventative maintenance is always more cost effective than leaving problems until they become urgent. This way you have time to factor generally cheaper maintenance costs into the already extended family budget, doing the work when it suits you.

10. How does bad weather affect the work?
At Creative Roofing we believe in starting one job and continuing until it is completely finished. If we happen to run into a bad day of weather, we will not work on your roof for that one day (leaving it water tight) and return on the next following workable day. This means we won't risk water leaking into your ceiling or have to repeat any work.

11. Do the stage 3 and 4 water restrictions affect roofing work?

Leaf Screener 1-2 days
Repointing 1-2 days
Rebedding and Repointing 2-3 days
Roof Restoration 3-5days
Roof Replacement 3-5days
